Health Educator

Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Supervise staff

·         Create health related posters/websites

·         Help people find appropriate health services

·         Help people find information about health

·         Collect data to analyze needs and evaluate programs

·         Prepare reports for both for management and stock holders

·         Create programs that encourage health and wellness

·         Teach people how to make good health choices

Educational Requirements:  Bachelor’s degree, public health education, and pass certified health education specialist exam

Reflection:  I would not like to become a health educator. I wouldn’t want to be one because they don’t really make a lot of money.

This quote shows that there are some goals that might take a little more time than expected and will require patience. For example if a student in the second grade decides that his goal is to go to college, then he will have to work at it but also be patient you cannot rush those type of goals. This quote also shows that for these types of goals you must be determined and reminded everyday of what you are working for.

Healthcare Administrator

Duties and Responsibilities:

Medical services managers or health care executives, health care administrators manage the administrative tasks of hospitals, medical laboratories, physician practices and other health care facilities. In small offices, they may be the only administrators answering phones, filing patient records, issuing and paying bills, and processing insurance claims. Larger facilities may have enough work to assign a single task to inexperienced administrators. For example, an administrator may only handle processing patient payments. In addition, new workers may only perform tasks while under the supervision of more experienced staff.  Administrators with experience not only work independently but can initiate projects. They also manage subordinate administrative staff. They hire, train, and monitor clerks and secretaries, assign schedules and tasks, and develop goals as well as strategies for reaching those goals. They consult with department heads and medical staff on their administrative needs, takes care of maintaining and repairing their physical facilities, and represent their organizations at investor meetings or governing boards. They also handle finances, such as creating budgets, calculating and issuing patient bills, and negotiating insurance claims

To be a Healthcare administrator you’ll need a degree. The higher the degree levels the more the pay.

REFLECTION

I would not like to be a healthcare administrator because it seems as if they do more work than average doctors and get a smaller salary than them.

Having money doesn't mean that you are successful in life it only means you can buy objects. Having a good names means you are kind to others and you don't let your wealth change your personality. For example if two wealthy people die to day and one of them was good while the other one had a bad reputation, then their peers would rather choose to go to the good wealthy man's funeral.

"A good name is better than anything you can achieve in this life"-Coach K. This quote shows that your actions define who you are in life. It also defines that you give yourself a name and it could be a good one or a bad one. For example someone who drinks alcohol and does drugs is setting a bad image for themselves. On the other hand someone who is responsible and does what they are told are giving people a look that they are a good person. I think i am setting a good name for myself because i have been working really hard in school and not causing problems to the teachers. 

"If your so-called friends urge you to do anything you know to be wrong you be the one to make a stand for right, even if you stand alone. Have the moral courage to be a light for others to follow."-Thomas S. Monson. This quote shows me that you have the choice to be good or be bad in life. it also shows that so-called friends are not really your friends if they encourage you to do bad stuff. Friends are the people who help you out and make you better. For example a friend that  pressures you to do stuff that wont help you in the future is not even close to being a friend. But friends that pressure you to be better are friends.

"A CTR champion is a person who makes a great human out of himself"-Noemi Trigueros. This quote shows me that there are a lot of champions out there but a CTR champion is the most important. A CTR champion is someone who never chooses the wrong and tries to be good 24/7. Although you do not get a fancy trophy or medal but you do feel like you earned it and you are superior.
